The 10th percentile represents the grade which 90% of the
undergraduates admitted scored above, and the 90th percentile
represents the grade which 10% of the undergraduates admitted
scored above.
I will strongly advise that you do not look at the 10th
percentile for admission purposes, since it can fluctuate greatly
from year to year.
