For H2 Chem, there are 3 main areas of Chemistry.
- Physical Chemistry (40%)
- Organic Chemistry (40%)
- Inorganic Chemistry (20%)
What u learn in physical chemistry are stuff like atomic
structure, mole equation, redox reactions, gas laws,
thermodynamics, ionic equilibrium, kinetics, electrochemistry,
bonding and reactivity.
In organic chemistry, u learn all the reactions, mechanism,
conditions and structure of most organic compounds like alkanes,
alkenes, arenes, alcohols, carbonyl compounds, carboxylic acids and
nitrogen compounds. A lot of memory work here.
In inorganic chemistry, u learn periodic table, group 2
elements, group 7 elements, and transition elements. It's quite
easy but very very memory work.
Yea, Chemistry is quite fun and easy at least for me =)
