Thank you, Prosaic_93 for your valuable feedbacks.
I understand that going to Hwa Chong JC required A1 in English
and Chinese.
Is it true ?
If my relative does not qualify to enter HJC, what is the
nexty best alternative ?
Raffles JC, Victoria or NJC ?
How do you rate these three JCs as against the results
?
For the A level subjects, we think it will be good to go for
Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Econs as advised by Eagle.
Thanks again for your valuable feedbacks.
I feel with ur relative's result, if he or she cant make it to HCI,
then victorial and national JC would be nt bad a choice. I dont
think ur relative can enter RJC, RJC is btr than HCI inho.
sometimes ppl prefer to be among the top students in a nt so good
JC (NJC,VJC,they are good, but nt as gd as HCI)as compared to being
the avrg student in a very good school (HCI). this is becos all JCs
offer a lot of opp for students to take up non academic activities,
like research attachment, olympic sciences competition, and usually
with efforts, only the top students in tt JC could be awarded the
chance. So I suggest ur relative to go VJ or NJ as he or she may
get to do more. NJ and VJ are quite different i feel, (I was from
NJ), however, I do feel a very impt criteria for considering JC is
the distance of the JC from ur house. if it takes u 2 hours to get
to VJ and 30 mins to NJ, I strong suggest u to go NJ. for JC life,
time is very impt, u will hav a lot of activities going on tt
strech to 5 or 6 pm, and u do most studying at night, so distance
matters a lot! trust me on that. hope it helps~ (pardon me 4 my
poor eng, ty.)
