Yup, today is the day most of the 2009 O Level Students get
their postings. I'm quite happy with my posting to SP Media and
Communications course because i have interest in the course and
it's my first choice.
Something quite asthonishing for this year's JAE Posting is that
NP has done it again. It's International Buissness course has a COP
of 7 points, an improvement from the previous year's COP of 9. I'm
not sure if this is a new record because from what i heard, RP did
once achieved a course COP of 6 points when they just open shop in
Woodlands but honestly, that achievement is rather undignified
because of their COPs for all their courses this year and the
previous years were within the 20 - 26 range. So, in my books, NP's
International Buissness' record-breaking feat is a more dignified
achievement compared to RP's.
For the rest of the courses, the Physcology Studies course in TP
came in 2nd with a COP of 8 (need to double check this) and the
Biomedical Studies course for both NP and SP came in a joint third
with a COP of 9 points. For those who got their desired postings,
congratulations. For those who didn't, there is an appeal excercise
ongoing from now till the 29th of January which is this Friday. You
can go to the JAE website for more info.
