My aim is to enter NUS FASS Communication and New Media

Does anyone know what are the entry requirements are for this course?

Does anyone know with my subject combination do i stand a chance of entering the course provided that i meet the entry requirements?

and what are my future job opportunities if i enter this course

Thanks in advance!

as long as your GP secure B3 and above shd be safe........
and at least 2 Bs in other subjects

jobs prospects include reporter/journalist/editor, mar-comm/PR/advertising/copywriting.......

min. grade is BBC/B for the 08 intake. to be safe, you should get ABC/B

scope of FASS is rather big. but need not worry so much. the 1st year will be for you to try alot of different courses before you specialise in a specific course in year two.

anyway good luck for alvls! its rather easy if you put in consistent work. dont even need hard work.just CONSISTENT can alr.=D

Hey Ill let you in on a secret . Well its not quite a secret but its not well known either. To get into NUS is not as difficult as som pple think. You don't have to get strait As. Infact there are students in NUS who did not get an A too. You could get a few Bs and a C or two and with a B3 for G.P. you would still have a very good chance of getting into NUS.

For new JC students who know that they are not academically excellent, my advice is for the 1st 6 mths or so, pay 65% to 70% effort on studies and 35% to 30% on building an impressive CCA record. Getting a tutor would also help tremendously.
