I'm a JC student, to prepare A level 2009, I have mugged completely for 9 months, no life at all. I really want to do well in A's. If you are really serious and willing to put in your hardworks, then which path to take is not a question for you anymore.

ITE is not so bad afterall. My sister went through ite>poly>uni.

tbh , my dream is to be a lawyer and now that everything of my hope is dashed and that i am FORCED to take 'Aerospace Avionics' as my Full Time NITEC course.. it is a 2 year duration and i was given a choice whether to 'retake' n or just proceed with ite education.. now that i go to ITE.. my parents are very dissapointed and they say that i am lazy to study and that my future is ruined after eharing their lecture..

i am from normal acaemic stream and i really dont know whether or not i retake my 'N(A)' or just proceed with ITE..

Guys for Aerospace avionics' is it a good course? pls.. can i go to poly with GPA of 3.5.. i really regret for playing too much runescape during my level examinations :(....

Is ITE really so bad that people say "aiya no hope la die"...

Can i go to NYP if i take 'Aerospace Avionics' at full time NITEC course.. pls help :(...

ITE if you really must, then go simei, because the rest of the campus not really that good

And forgot to tell you, to score a 4 pointer, you must be good at both theory and practical

Yes and sadly, you didn't read my post clearly, i'm not bragging i made it to NUS from ITE, i'm just proving that not all ITE students are pathetic like you all make it to be.There's still hope IF YOU PUT IN THE EFFORT. Stereotypes are stereotypes.

Wah dun play play with ITE, many from there make it to poly these days. Some classes have as much as half of them getting in. Why? Mainly also because of Republic Poly. It is like an ITE extension.

Got a fren who repeated primary 6 till primary 8, went to N levels, then went ITE, then poly, then NTU and now is an engineer based in the US.

May i suggest that either you retake ur Ns, get to O levels and move on from there, or if not, do the nitec, go on to poly etc.

It is a longer route but it doesnt matter as long as u get there.

you can apply ITE in Machanical Technology course for 2 years.. =)

choose to retake cos GCE exams have age limit. You cant retake if u r 18.

You can take GCE 'O' or 'A' level exams anytime. Eg. when you're 50 years old.

I think you may consider private school.

My friend's friend failed his o level, he did not want to repeat nor go to ITE.

He then entered private school doing o level there.

He is now studying at local polytechnic.

You may consider this opt.
