Hi,
Thinking and writing are different activities, and exams
focus on the latter.
In your usual revision, you need to condition yourself to
write under exam conditions (i.e. under time constraint
continuously for the duration of the exam paper).
Thanks!
P.S. Here is a personal sharing. When I think about research, I
do not go very far in developing the concepts, except having a
very generalised idea; but when I write, I see many things that
ought to be thought further.
Furthermore, thinking causes the mind to weigh heavily,
metaphorically speaking. If the mind is not clear and one's
understanding is incomplete, one easily gets into circular
reasoning repeatedly, causing unnecessary frustration. Writing
makes things much clearer and direct on paper, as one may
be able to organise ideas better physically. Thanks again.
Cheers,
Wen Shih
