It's very hard to undo the mismanagement under MBT even with all
the good intention of KBW.
Towards his last term, before the election, MBT went to HK to
"learn".
At the end of his term? before election? from a poor housing
record/policy city like HK? It speaks a lot of this man.
And he was adamant about making profit for the govt. From the so
called "subsidised flat"?
Frankly, LSH should have seen the writing on the wall and should
have removed MBT before the demages were entrenched.
To me, it has been too little, too late.
But now under KBW, it's the reverse of too much, too soon.
Either way, both methods risk exasperate the problem further and
further.
"it's the reverse of too much, too soon. "
I totally agree with this. The problem caused by Mah would
actually take 3 to 5 years to normalized by itselfs, Khaw actually
too just less than half a year to do it. Even though I welcome
Khaw's effort to reverse the effects, I still feel that there
should be a more stringent requirement in place in order for
foreigners to own properties in Singapore.
Naturalize sg citizen should have priority before prs and
foreigners.
