Hey!I am currently doing a worksheet on Pressure and I dont
understand the Archimedes' Principle.The principle
is says that the upthrust of an object immersed in a fluid is equal
to weight of the fluid displaced by object.
(some of my queries: what is "displaced fluid", and how do
you find the weight of the displaced fluid?)
some other questions regarding pressure:
a)how do scuba divers overcome the high water pressure when they
breathe at great depths beneath the water surface?
b)why does a big lorry has many wheels as compared to a car? for
this question, can i say that the wheels provide more surface area,
so pressure decreases?
THANKS IN ADVANCE.
