Hi, i'm in J1 this year and i'm taking H2 bio, chem, math and H1
econs. i'm not taking 4H2s... but still i can't seem to cope.
I've been failing my bio and chem tests even though i did study
for them.
I have always been weak in Chemistry since secondary school
days, so I guess it has something to do with my foundation.
For Bio, i can't seem to see results though i really really did
put in effort to study and memorise. Can anyone[especially those
who aced their bio papers] here kindly give me some advice on how
to go about studying for biology? I cannot afford to fail anymore
as I will probably have to retain if i continue to do so. ): Your
advice is greatly appreciated. (:
For chemistry, anyone here know of good and affordable chemistry
group tuition? Please do let me know.
Thank you very much!
For now, just work harder, and wait for your end of year promo
results.
If you do not do well enough, then I suggest you change your
combination and repeat your first year.
Even though you worked hard, perhaps you are just one of the
guys who are not good at memory work.
Just like Sir peanuts suggested, maybe you will like to try a
Arts combination.
If your GP is good enough, a H2 Lit, Econs, Arts/MT and H1 Maths
combination will do the trick.
If you really want to continue on your science combination, try
dropping chem and bio, and take up Physics and Lit/MT instead. (
Econ will 'become' your 3rd science subject in this case. )
