Unfortunately I was there at the scene - me just came back from
JB, and were supposed to meet my friend for coffee at Yishun. I
arrived about 15 mins after it had happened. Total of two
ambulances & three police cars.
The woman (dressed in black t-shirt & shorts) was lying on a
stretcher - from my observation, she looked like she had a a broken
right leg, huge amount of abrasions, & her face was wounded
very very badly. She was grasping for air, and was in shock (body
twitched uncontrollably).
The driver was pulled from under the back bumper....looked like a
goner to me there & then. The entire car was disintegrated. The
only part that resembled a car-part was the back bumper. The debris
of this car was spread over a wide area.
From what I observed, he should have been driving at high speed
taking a steep corner; had lost control; ran over the centre kerb;
smashed into a truck parked at opposite side. The tire skid marks
were unquestionable. His final stop was by the side of a monstrous
truck.
Yes, it''s the long stretch of road that u exit YD towards Orchid
Country Club.
