this yr i think A levels is going to be dam screwed. worst
cohort ever.
last yr's subject papers were chicken feet.
finish the 07math paper in 2+hrs. this yr's paper i'm didn't
manage to attempt alot of marks. seriously screwed math. hope P2
will be easier, else die...
bio is screwed also. din attempt 30 marks...
ya, frm wad i heard, all the subject papers are killer. h2 hist,
geog, cll, math, phy and bio.
looking from the trend, the subsequent papers are going to be
imba as well.
i think maybe it's got to do with complaints about cambridge A
levels being too easy back in UK, so they raise the standards.
(they were even thinking of setting A* grade for scoring 90% and
above) wth.
SEAB is going to do serious moderations if they expect to
maintain the A-rate and passing rate....
I think because last yr got so many pple getting not bad results
and were rejected from local university. And parents will write to
MOE and Straits Times to complain their son/daughter blabla
got A B C, or B B B but got rejected by NUS, NTU,
SMU.
Probably the authorities wanted to ensure this doesnt happen
again and thats why they are making the papers extremely tough, so
only the creme de la cream gets to uni with their
well-deserved scores.
Seriously many people gonna get screwed.
