-Mutual respect can enhance interaction between parents and
children eg children would be more willing to confide their
problems to parents.
-Shorten the generation gap as parents can see things from
children's viewpoint.
Of course,for extra marks you have to give opposing viewpoint as
well and then counter it,such as eg it would be harder to
discipline children as you would have a lesser air of authority etc
etc. Then you counter this point by saying that the respect as
stated above might overcome this problem and you elaborate blah
blah.
