Official O levels Results Crapping/Complaining Thread

So far I am damned nervous... coz my initial estimate of A1/A2 cut off seems to be accurate... Got results from 2 students so far... A girl who scored >90 got A1s for both maths. Another girl who scored 86% got A2 for both... And I got 2 poorer performing students who scored around 81%... So I am hoping against all hope that 86% is the upper range for A2 then the 2 of them can get A2 also...zzz... damned scary how consistent you have to be these days to get a distinction. I prefer the old days where the questions were tougher and scores required lower.

That's why I damned headache now... Coz hoping the 2 of them can taigo an A2 loh.

But heng got another guy double A1 reported in... this joker really jialat... for half a year I tell him go memorise the graphs of various equations he don't want. Then his A Maths paper 1 blank out lost 15marks then he basket entire day sketch graphs coz he know paper 2 cannot cock up again. Luckily for him, paper 2 was perfect full marks. haizzz

Haizzz... as expected... 5 A1, 3 A2 and 3 B3 from my O level students and a A2 from my lone N level student. Guess I got to demand a little more from my current Sec 4 students.

Targeted minimum score revised from 80% to 85%. Solution = brute force for the 4 problem topics.

haix.. in the end ok ok la. mediocre results.. i knew i my maths won get A1 after i saw alot of people crying in front of me ( i was the last register, no help from moderation )

Science = A1

English = A2

Comb humads = B3

E maths = B4

M.T = C6

New course as in super high cut-off point

Lol you think that's bad. My o levels predicted score was something like 15. My a levels even better. Predicted alll 3 sub fail. My physics prelims I hand in blank paper. :D ok not blank, there was a beautiful pencil sketch of a McLaren Formula 1 car on it ^^
Yet here I am topping modules at university in UK having gotten here on my own merit. lol. Never did like math tho

english cannot study one, A2 not bad la. I got A1 for it tho ^^. I assume you're going to JC? Heres a word of advice: Do not write in the way they teach you to in JC for GP. Singapore teachers don't know what an A1 essay should be. You do it their way, at best with superflous language and excellent essay structuring, you get A2. When I was in JC they failed my GP all the way, but I couldn't give a shit. Come a levels, I got my A1 . Remember the actual GP a level paper is marked in UK, and I'm topping my english module in a UK uni right now so you know I'm right .

Anyways, I got 11 before bonus, sigh. Failed my HMT. -_- So after cca bonus is 9 points. Am considering AJC/MJC/SAJC. But I don't know to choose the science route or arts route. On one hand, I love literature. Not very interested in history, hates geography. On the other, love chemistry and physics. (Although I need to work very hard for physics..)

I got 12 sigh. Duno why gt A2 for phy and chem(maybe cos of spa)- my biggest disappointment

Greatest amazement: A2 for bio when i expected to get like B4 cos i never got A2 for bio before.

Best study: Geog, i studied till i can vomit all the info.
