I doubt so.... but the minister declared state of emergency at Bangkok as protestors have surrounded the Government House forcing the minister to leave the place....

Tell them to be careful over there.

150 km south of Bkk but there are pockets of protests in Bkk as well. Generally it’s confined to the Govt House area. If your friend avoids that place, should be fine. But be street smart.

The red shirt attempt to bring Thaksin back to power is good for the people of Thailand.

Remember when Thaksin was in power, Thailand econ was good. He manage to bring Thailand from low point of economic crisis of 1997 to fast growing of the 2000.

Those Thai military ruler who overthrow him know nuts abt economic management.

And all countries are suffering from world econ meltdown, THailand needs leader like Thaksin to revivie the econ and save hundred thousands of job in Thailand.
