this is how my graph looks like...

Honestly, that looks weird. I don't know if it's correct but there's definitely something weird about it.

I think the curve from -2 to 1 should be at the 1 to 4 part, and vice versa.

By the way, the question was to draw a graph for the ice pack, not for the solid that melts at 1 degree celsius. Therefore, even if all the curvatures are right, you were drawing the graph for the wrong object.

Ah, Theguiltshow's graph looks much pleasing.

No use brooding over it, what's past had passed. I myself haven't done fantastically well either. Truth be told, I haven't performed even half of what my potential allows. By the way, I'm certain I've got my melting graph wrong. Unless the markers are so drunk, they could not differentiate a straight line from a curve, I have no doubt I'm wrong.

For The Focal Length Question, I notice that many got 1.8cm, so got 1.7cm and some got 1.9cm. So do you think it is possible that they will accept 1.8cm +-0.1?

Reasons why electric heater at bottom is not as effective? Anyone know this one? I stated that as the heated water rises it may lose heat by conduction to the tank walls.. hope it makes sense enough

Anyway this paper, together with chem, is quite easy lar. Reason being is that to pull up the marks of Science, since the practical is quite hard (that's how i think) :P

Damn, wrong again. Yeah for the electric heater I said the water that comes out of the hot water tank will not be as hot as the water may lose heat while rising to the top. No time to write lose heat by what process. I hope they accept this :(

Yes practical (the Chem part; Physics was easy) was damn shit. I even got my observations wrong. My iodine didn't turn blue-black... Prepared to get 0 for Chem prac :P

I think the heating curve was 2marks + so if have the right plotting should get 1 mark n the next mark should be the curve shape.

If 3 marks then maybe is considering the 3 parts of the curve (the initial rise, constant at 1oC, rise to 4oC)

Also, for the how sound transmitted thingy... I wrote being transmitted by a series of compression and rarefraction, and it traval in the direction parallel to the direction of vibraion. Don't know if they accept this answer :P

i.e. rarefaction (slightly lower p), compression (slightly higher p)

5cm is wrong! (initially i wrote 5cm then realise my mistake.)
