O_ok SG y=f(x) ()=integrate From what I understand, integrating f(x) and making 1 revolution with respect to the y-axis is pi() f(x)^2 dx. However, when asked to integrate the curve around the x-axis, should I integrate it in terms of dy instead of dx? When should I integrate according to dy instead of dx? A little bit confused here.
eagle SG i'm surprised no one answered this yetintegrating f(x) and making 1 revolution with respect to the x-axis is pi() f(x)^2 dxintegrating f(y) and making 1 revolution with respect to the y-axis is pi() f(y)^2 dy
