how u know is 4 bond and each bond is 2 electron
Because "meth" means 1 carbon atom. And all carbon atoms must have
4 bonds (at least at 'O' levels; at 'A' levels you can have
carbocations and carbanions, with 3 bond pairs zero lone pairs, and
3 bond pairs 1 lone pair, respectively).
And methANE is an alkANE, and without any subtitutents (eg.
tribromomethane), so you know all 4 bonds from carbon must have
hydrogen atoms attached.
And all covalent bonds consist of 2 electrons each.
