Bigcable22 SG Do CCa in JC contribute any actual points that is used for calculation for application to uni?just like the 2bonus cca point for olvl student applying to Jc?or just the simple statement in the testi section only?? If it contribute no point imma quit liao,so waste time especially in such rigouros Jc time scheldule..
gunner77 SG yes, now uni they look at non-academic areas.dont forget u challenging foreigners as well for places in uni.CCA is important.
eagle SG they helpbut if your points are already way above the cut-off, that few bonus points doesn't matter much
deathmaster SG yes and no.uni don't look at cca points anymore.but, if you are outstanding, like being in the national team for sailing etc, you qualify for discreet admission to uni.but if you are applying for scholarship, good cca portfolio is a must.
BangHong SG scholarship look at everything! If just enter uni, score is purely enough, CCA will be a plus point. that is UNLESS, you really EXCEL... in some sports.Eg. badminton , eg. swimming
FireIce SG if u are applying for scholarship, or if u suay suay vying with someone else for the last seat, the CCA records will help but nonetheless, u shd still have a CCA to balance work and play if it's eating into ur study schedule, means it's your time management problem u can choose a more seng nang CCA
alfagal SG i wont count on cca points to get into uni...cos there will always be alot of competitors..i'd concentrate on getting academic merits...its more of a sure way to get into uni
ghast. SG mostly, it helps in testimonial, help u look better, like some super good all rounder yeah?
