hello. i'm doing a paper in an education subject and my topic is
about comparing the Philippines' and Singapore's primary school
music classes. by "music classes" i mean the ones done in a school
classroom during regular class hours, not private instrument or
voice lessons or things like that. i've found a lot of info about
the subject but i cannot find anything that can answer these two
questions:
1. how many times a week are music classes held in
Singapore?
2. how many minutes are the classes?
i'm actually looking for the general kind of info, like if the
Singapore Ministry of Education had decreed a proposed number of
times a week or a proposed time frame for a music class. even if
this info is not available, i'd really appreciate actual data being
used at the moment in different schools (for example in school A
music classes are held twice a week 40mins each, in school B music
classes are only once a week but 50mins each session). if i have
gathered my data correctly, all the primary schools in Singapore
are public schools (or most of them are) so i think the times and
frequencies of music classes wouldn't vary too much.
