under periodicity.
sodium will react violent in water to form alkaline solution. this
is under aqueous.
Shouldnt it be
Na + H20 -------> NaO + H2 ??
why must put coefficient of 2 in front?
sodium burns with O2, will create Na2O. Na is 1+, O is 2-
Burn use O2, react with water use H20. both are different, product
will be different.
You can't get Na2O from reacting with water since Na2O is
powdery.
sorry for the so confusing explanation.
