Another question here.
2 items, 1 10kg, 1 9kg. I release them both at the same time in a
vaccum. What will happen?
a) 10kg will hit ground 1st
b) 9 kg will hit ground 1st
c) both hit ground at the same time.
I am partly convinced its C.
potential energy = mgh
kinetic = 1/2 mv^2
In this case all potential energy is converted into kinetic energy
therefore
mgh = 1/2mv^2
gh= 1/2v^2
therefore weight playes no role in the above scenario. Am I
correct?
