Agenda SG been going to the gym regularly for 2 weeks now coupled with 10minutes HIIT on the treadmill, and everytime after the sessions ranging from 1 to 3 hours.. i have a cup of freshly made soya bean then either a bread from the bread shop with plenty of egg on it or cai peng with tofu and egg as well as fish or meat.. when i eat noodle or rice, i leave 50% or so of them untouched and only eat the ingredients which is heavy in protein.. i know, i calculated.. now i feel much more fitter.. although i only lost 2kg since starting the program, i can feel that my muscles are getting firmer previously i do 10 push up can die liao.. now can do at least 30 before arms give way and i feel that my tees are getting bigger and bigger and i feel alot more confidence besides, going in the morning always makes me feel very awake throughout the day gym has helped me, how has it helped you? this is definitely better than jogging 4km
Marco_Simone SG For me, -gd way to destress and forget about my troubles. -feel like a badass when I go heavy -a personal sense of achievement when I hit a PR -of course makes people ard me ask stupidly obvious qns like "do you workout"? The confidence one gets from training can change some peoples' lives signficantly...
Nadare SG so glad that gym workouts has made u fitter, more confident and of cos healthier i do visit the gym once in a while and workout , but running helps in losing of weight too, it builds stamina and endurance.. so cant neglect running either..
eagle SG running trains the body differently. Being strong and able to run efficiently is an efficient combo
Simon Dean SG 8-10 mins of HIIT will beat 30 mins of jogging anyday. You get maximal cardiac output from HIIT unlike jogging.
comberbache SG It helped me gain approx. 9 kg in about 3 months. It helped me actually wear clothes for my height, without looking like a scarecrow. It helped be more confident and feel more healthy. I thank God , and members of this forum (and a few other forums, as well).
borntolive SG hmmmm made me alot more confident ba. Used to be short n thin, 165cm n 49-50kg n lead a total sedentary lifestyle, dont even look like a adult That was in around feb 06.. Then i started weightlifting n looking for better nutrition. After about 5 mths of playing n trying out in gym and after BMT disruption, i decided to train seriously at least to make full use of my NS liability. Now shot to 70kg and my clothers get much tighter and look much better .
Agenda SG wow.. i didn't know that going to gym can make one look like a adult alot of my friends are small built and they don't look their age..
Simon Dean SG btw the session in the gym is supposed to be no longer than 50 mins.Reason is hormonal levels decline after 50 mins.PM OPT and ask for a more in-depth explaination.
