I just want to check if I did it right.
I haven't got a foam yet, but I found this thing at home. It is
something to train grip I think. It is shaped like a ball, size
around a palm minus fingers. It is softer than a tennis ball, yet
harder than foam, so I guess it should work.
What I did:
I put the ball thing on a hard floor. Then I laid down on the floor
with the ball between my upper back and the floor, and I let as
much of my body weight lie on the ball as possible. I could feel it
pressing into the muscles, and there was some pain. Pain is like
when you did a heavy back workout, then when it is tired, and
someone helped u massage by finger pressure that type of pain...
It's like pain, yet comfortable type of pain. Some parts of the
muscles could be much more painful. At some parts where it is
rather tired, I stretch the back muscle a bit and felt the pressure
deeper in the muscles. I put my bodyweight on the ball through that
contact part for about a minute before switching to another part of
the back.
After effect was my back felt less tight then when I tried it. It
certainly felt better.
