Simon Dean SG This guy frequents the gym several times a week.He will go around telling people what they are doing is wrong. Then he will demo the "correct-form" using the lightest weight on machines. He will always put the pin on the stack on the lightest weight and proceed to do it very rapidly.Hoping that people would take a glance at him. Then he will go to the treadmill and do max speed for 2 mins. After which he suddenly jumps down and does 50 1/4 pushups whilst acting tough. If there are kids, he will use the heaviest weight on the machine and smirk to them, flex his arms and check his 6 pac in the mirror. One day, i entered the gym.Out of the blue, he gave me a tour around the gym.I declined it but he insisted.Just to make him happy i follow. Then he asks me to follow his routine.
Simon Dean SG Its at Yew Tee there, my 3rd time there. But wont be going there anymore, though the equipment is nice. Its just too far.
Short Ninja SG You think that is crazy?I have one for you.In my gym there is one guy who join but never use free weights and machines instead he would go to one corner and do knee benders for 2 hours then he would go home. One time I asked him what he was training for and he said "Ice Skating"
Short Ninja SG Not in Singapore and we pay like 10,000 Yen every month plus yearly membership of another 10,000.
Simon Dean SG I wont exactly know if its yew tee cause my friend bring me there but i guess it is somewhere near there.
coffeeortea SG i like private condo gyms. so awesome. especially since out of 10 times i go, im alone on 9 occassions. so much freedom.
galapogos SG Except condo gyms usually suck when it comes to how well equipped they are. It's more of an afterthought than well integrated into the building.
coffeeortea SG indeed, but i'll say my condo gym is fairly good cause it has stuff that i use at bigger gyms. actually, i'll just say im lucky that they have equipment that i use HAHA
