fishbuff SG being used to train in civil engineering structural design, im testing out one structural loading theory that i had on barbell rowing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0I3bfRsvuMI
fishbuff SG this is my 2nd time doing at this weight. another 6 months down the road to adapt to this weights and can bend lower and forward.
fishbuff SG more like fat. weightlifting is more like a hobby (golfing) to me. im 39 this year and have been training for past 3 years. working full time as a senior IT consultant specialising in oracle databases on unix platform.
OPT SG If you look at the techninqe you find the movement pattern does not mach an actual barbell row..... closer to a shrug. I really think you are better off working on the technique first then build up the load. I would recomend ditching the straps and work on proper grip using Olympic Lifting grip - will be tough to start with but your strength will go through the roof.
pierre^^ SG i dunno lei thought it be better for u to go jogging instead to a smaller frame size coz u look like those ppl participate in those strongman competition kind
fishbuff SG overhanging is tough. my max grip with overhang and hook grip is at 140kg. takes time, recovery rate at this point in my life is reallllly slow. normally i row at 120kg for 10 reps with good form with no straps.
