Y_Shun SG You never warm up... You should always warm up before you do any vigorous exercises if not you next day, whole body ache one.
FireIce SG dun have to do it like an energizer rabbit......... (or was it duracell...) go at a steady pace..... and pain is good, means u are working the muscles.............
kenn3th SG Don't give up..!! i will be waiting to see ur one little pac become 6 smaller and stronger ones
zanza SG Its not supposed to hurt for so long... 3 days is a bit over i tink Maybe try fewer reps with more sets ?
Simon Dean SG I never really thought that situps and crunches were a good abs exercise. Anyway, like fireice said. Its the quality of the reps not the quantity.
OPT SG Situps and crunches are not the best exercise for training the rectus abdominis as this is not their primary function. Most people will tell you that the function of the rectus abdominis is to produce flexion but its not the primary function is eccentric deceleration of the trunk into extension. In other words to prevent movement not create movement.
Simon Dean SG Woa, last time i tried a heavy military press of 70kg(Heavy to me la, i weak) for few reps.Wah lan, the strain on my abs ar I think that good mornings and military presses compliment each other.
