I really need help with something cause I'm freaking out

I just started ebaying and while I had so much fun, I eventually
met a buyer who only accepted paypal (I was using DBS Mastercard
for the previous purchases). So I set up my paypal account, and
naively proceeded to follow the instructions for topping up my
account. I didn't see how to top up the account using credit card
when I clicked Top-Up, but I was given 2 options - to fill up an
application form that take 4-6days to process or to do an instant
internet bank transfer. I chose the latter and proceeded to
transfer money using DBS ibanking to the Bank of America Paypal
account.
However, I refreshed both my Paypal and my DBS transactions page a
few times for a few hours and there was a deduction in DBS, but no
top-up in Paypal! I 'troubleshooted', and I realized Paypal doesn't
accept transfers from DBS! I am at a loss now because I'm really
new to this and I really want to retrieve my money back, wherever
it is.
It doesn't help either, when people are posting so many paypal
horror stories. I'm afraid I cannot get my money back!
Has anyone experienced the same problem? Or does anyone work in
the bank or something? Please help.. pleeaaase!
