Could have been chassis #028 - this was originally in Japan when it had a ghastly rear wing but has now ended up in the US minus the wing. Its not beyond the realms of reality that it may have stopped over in Singapore en route....

My uncle living in London told me he everyday goes past the Park Lane showroom..he too said the McLaren F1 was there for a LONG, LONG time..then recently, he told me the F1 was gone..I thought it was sold away..NOW i know where it is.. Laughing

Apparently it was sold for over £1,000,000.00 (!) as it was classed as 'new'. I remember passing the showroom every time I went to London for a day out, and going in the showroom and being given handouts relating to the F1 - I was only young then so didn't realise the significance of where I was or what I was seeing; if I knew then what I know now........

Sold for over £1,000,000?! I thought the original list price of the McLaren F1 in the UK was £635,000?

If it was really sold at £1,000,000, then it's even more expensive than the Bugatti Veyron..haha..£1,000,000 = 1,500,000Euros..the Bugatti Veyron is "only" sold at 1,000,000Euros.. Laughing

Yup, allegedly sold for £1m+ as it was 'new' as in unregistered (IIRC)
