i've tried peter pan, skippy, goober, peanut butter and co.,
snickers, milkyway. all of them were tried in usa, and i have to
say, that skippy has the nicest peanut butter of all in terms of
just plain peanut butter.
after doing alot of research on nutrition and brands, skippy has
turned out to be the one that is most healthy in terms of caloric
density and nutrients provided. peanut oil is actually considered a
healthy oil, in fact oil from nuts are considered the healthy oil
together with fish, flaxseed, coconut, olive etc..
skippy is considered the higher end in the peanut butter industry,
and it certainly does show in its pricings at stores.
one thing that skippy does not offer is certainly the variety,
while they have reduced fat by 30% type of peanut butter, they do
not provide peanut butter with honey (peter pan), or peanut butter
with jelly (goober), peanut butter with chocolate syrup (snickers,
milkyway, goober).
the one that wins in variety and has unique ingredients in its
peanut butter.. would be the ones from peanut butter and co. they
provide peanut butter with cinnamon and raisins, peanut butter in
dark chocolate, infused peanut butter with white chocolate
chips.
