United midfield has been stale with the same old players for 3-4
seasons, and is crying out for much needed play maker and defensive
midfielder, but it never came. in comes kagawa and powell in united
midfield. yet fergie continue to buy strikers like RVP
and Angelo Henriquez when united have too many strikers before
berbatov was offloaded to fulham and owen released. dun get me
wrong, RVP looked a class signing and all rounder, but united paid
too much for a 29 year old striker in his last year of contract at
24m pounds.
united mifield at the moment, cant even compete with barcelona,
RM, man city or even chelsea. fergie must be deluding himself when
he said united standards is almost close to barcelona. is he
kidding himself or what? united is still a long way off barcelona
standard, just compare their midfield with us and you will see
why.
