Manchester City have been drawn to play against Manchester
United in the third round of the FA Cup.
City knocked United out of the competition at last season's
semi-final stage before going on to win the competition, and
defeated their local rivals 6-1 at Old Trafford in their most
recent meeting, so the Red Devils will be eager to get revenge when
the teams meet at Eastlands next month.
Arsenal, who last won the competition in 2005, will take on
Championship side Leeds United at Emirates Stadium, while 2010
winners Chelsea play Portsmouth at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham have a home tie against League Two side Cheltenham,
while Liverpool will play either Southend or Oldham at Anfield.
Stoke, last season's defeated finalists, will make the trip to
Gillingham and Everton will be eager to avoid embarrassment in
their game against Conference side Tamworth at Goodison Park.
Newcastle also host Blackburn in an all-Premier League tie.
Ties will be played on the weekend of January 7-8.
