Should United cash in on Welbeck now?

zocoss SG

STEVE BRUCE is willing to splash out £10million to buy England new boy Danny Welbeck from Manchester United.

The Sunderland boss has seen enough of Welbeck on loan to persuade his money men to make an offer ... but he might have more trouble talking Sir Alex Ferguson into a sale.

Rock^Star SG

wah don't la. Wait and see first.

I dont think Fergie will let him go because of the quota to meet since Gary Neville's retirement and maybe even Scholes too. Unless we're talking about a swap for Henderson la.

zocoss SG

I don't think they will have a problem with the quota cos they got quite a few 'home grown' players apart from the English ones...

English ones like Rio Ferdinand, Carrick, Scholes, Rooney and Smalling already 5.

Home grown have John O'Shea, Fletcher, Evans, Giggs, Fabio, Rafael, Federico Macheda got 7 liao...

And all this doesn't include those who might leave like Wes Brown, Gibson and the 2 Owens...

And possible arrivals... A Young, Cahill, Henderson ?

So I think 8 shouldn't be too much of a problem for United...

Can let him come back and see how he is doing first... BTW where can he play ? wings? I can see him playin a fringe role man. He is not that let you have confidence guy.

Unless he can produce some winning performance like how nani had then he might be important. Otherwise he will have to strive on like how Fletcher did if he truely loves utd.

zocoss SG

I think can sell him with a clause with a 25% sell-on... lol.

So in the event he does well and they want to buy him back... Got 25% discount... lol.

Loan him out for another year, as he is not ready for united first team.

anyway got rooney, berbatov and hernandez for next season, can loan him out again for a higher price.

i think he won't want to be loaned given his results. he will want a first team place or out.

I suggest use him to get rodwell?? we do need a gooooood CM.
