Manchester City
manager
Roberto
Mancini is
reportedly making a last attempt to sign
Sunderland
midfielder
Jordan
Henderson in
front of bitter rivals Manchester
United,
according to The Mirror.
The newspaper revealed last week that the 20-year-old would
prefer a move to United because of a higher chance of receiving
regular first-team football.
However, reports suggest that Mancini remains a massive fan of
the youngster – who was hailed as “the best young British
footballer around” by manager Steve Bruce.
It is estimated that it will cost City £20 million to lure
Henderson to Eastlands.
