From my point of view, evans is good enough.
But he lacks in one department, experience.
His inexperience at handling diferent types of strikers at times
leads to his naive defending. His inability to keep Zamora in his
pocket has indirectly caused United the whole three points against
Fulham, not that they deserved it though. United was irrepressible
until they scored and from that point on, Fulham seem to run all
over them.
United have an air of defensive vulnerability about them since
last season and till this point, it hasn't been solved.
The fault of conceding late goals do not solely belong to the
defenders. It belongs to the whole team. They must not lose
concentration and take their foot of the gas until the final
whistle is blown.
I admire Evan's willingness to run with the ball, hopefully
he'll grow to become as good as his predecessor, a certain
Gerard Pique ,who just scored against Aletico Madrid.
