Manchester United vs Stoke

Location: Old Trafford

Time:10:55pm

Manchester United

Manchester United will still be without the services of Antonio Valencia, who is struggling with an ankle problem.

Rio Ferdinand should be fit to play a full part in proceedings, while Owen Hargreaves should again feature from the substitutes' bench after his comeback against Sunderland.

Gary Neville will receive a late check on a calf problem.

Possible starting XI (4-4-2): Van der Sar; O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Nani, Scholes, Fletcher, Giggs, Berbatov, Rooney.

Stoke City

Abdoulaye Faye (groin) will not return for Stoke, who have reported no fresh injury concerns after their game with Fulham in midweek.

Manager Tony Pulis may indeed name an unchanged starting XI for the trip to Old Trafford.

Possible starting XI (4-4-2): Begovic, Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Higginbotham, Delap, Whelan, Whitehead, Etherington, Fuller, Sidibe.

anyway

rooney should score too (earn golden boots)

omgukilledkenny SG

Carrick no hurry to rid off la. But for the latter........

he did said he will want to make changes in the off season. berbatov simply cannot perform, just like veron, an expensive flop. he will be looking to cut the losses, maybe sell him for 15m, at least u lose 15m, not the entire 30m down the drain. 15m can be used to finance silva.

as for carrick, he had a lousy season and he is 29, time to cash in on carrick. can also sell him to finance some other player fergie fancy buying.

The Old Trafford sideline has a nice little slope, won't be easy for him to launch those balls.

congrats to chelsea, rightful deserving winners. Man U have only themselves to blame.

TIB657M SG

Man U should buy some defenders to make up for the loss (other than buying smalling)

Despite departure of Ronaldo & Tevez, the midfielders still managed to perform well. Nani started scoring nowadays.

If you saw the Man U - Munchen match, Valencia's assist was nice. Then, Nani used his left feet to score.

Rock^Star SG

if only we had kept those two, man u would have done much better. How can two top players leave like that? They are easily the best in the world on their day.

Chelsea must have been laughing their balls off seeing these 2 go.
