Berba is looking more and more like Sheva. He should have been sold while he's still worth a penny. It's a frustrating match to watch. I've lost count of how...

Precisely, United brought it upon themselves.

Whichever team Big Sam manages, he always use the same style of approach - Very Physical and Route One. United need to be wary of this. Best if choke the midfield supply and United should be able to win this.

3-0 hopefully.

Rooney misses Ewood trip

Wayne Rooney will miss Sunday's trip to Blackburn Rovers, but should be back for the Manchester derby.

The striker made a miraculous recovery from minor ankle ligament damage to start Wednesday's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich, but aggravated the injury during United's defeat to the Germans.

He will now sit out the visit to Ewood Park on Sunday, but United boss Sir Alex Ferguson expects him to be available for the trip to Eastlands on 17 April.

"I don't think it's as serious as we said when he got the injury the first time, but I think he'll be ready for the City game," he told press at his pre-match press briefing. "We've got more time to work on it, anyway. Other than that, everyone else is fit."

Following United's midweek exertions against Bayern, Sir Alex says he will freshen up his starting XI for the clash with Sam Allardyce's side.

"Given the nature of the game on Wednesday and the energy spent, we have to address the situation of freshness," he said.

"We've got a a squad to use - we have the likes of Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville and we also have John O'Shea back now. He came on against Bayern and did 30 minutes' work - it's good to get him back because he's such a versatile player for us.

"Sam Allardyce's team is in fantastic form. Blackburn is always a difficult place to go and they have a good home record. Hopefully we can get the energy back in the team. If we do that we'll be all right."

all the 3 oldies played. fletcher is in the bench. scholes and giggs at the centre of midfield

united midfield gg liao

Rooney9 SG

Berbatov partnering Macheda upfront. I hope united midfield dun get overrun by BB midfielders.

Rooney9 SG

as usual, scholes always mistimed tackles one, got a yellow for his troubles. another yellow and he is off.

Rooney9 SG

valencia one to one cant score good saved by robinson.

as usual, united have a lot of miss passes all over the place.

zocoss SG

Scholes and Giggs playing in midfield again… I think the best can hope for is a scoreless draw.

Rooney9 SG

haiz valencia should have scored, but then he is a winger, not a striker. giggs is replaced by gibson. very soon it will be scholes, replaced by fletcher I think.

Rooney9 SG

Park will be on soon for scholes I think. no its macheda. united back to 4-5-1 formation after 4-4-2 formation.

Rooney9 SG

our defenders are basically pasing the ball to BB defenders by pumping in long and high balls. why can't they play it to the midfielders to do their stuff instead of long balls for strikers to chase?

TTFU SG

wats the score now ? 0-0 at 40 mins was what i last saw

Rooney9 SG

fergie is kan cheong liao, he is up on his seat with phelan. another sub to made by fergie soon, most likely to be scholes.

Rooney9 SG

wats the score now ? 0-0 at 40 mins was what i last saw

0-0 lar

Rooney9 SG

looks like a 0-0 draw, 2 points dropped haiz. united may finish in third, never mind win the BPL title.

Rooney9 SG

fletcher didnt even play in this match. time to regroup for next season. looks like united will either finish 2nd or third liao.
