EPL - Manchester United vs Burnley - Jan 16

This Diouf looks like a good young player... He seems like very fast...

Rooney9 SG

I am betting that Manchester United will win 3goals against Burnley 0 goals.

hey you are right with the scoreline lol

zocoss SG

frankly speaking, I dunno why rafael wasnt playing and instead it was gary neville?

Rafael is being kept for City on Wed... All the young boys are part of that team. Fabio, Gibson, Anderson, Evans...

Rooney9 SG

united is one dimensional nowadays. the threat coming from rooney, berbatov and valencia. take out one of these players, and you dunno where the creativity and goals are coming from.

ferdinand and vidic absence does not help, as the back four are always changing due to injuries.

Imo, the midfield has to start putting their weight up front and support the strikers by contributing with some of the goals.

Miss the days when any player could step up and score for Utd.

the days of scholes, giggs, becks and keane, yorke and andy cole lol? thats well and truly in the folklore now.

now you have only valencia that can truly score from midfield. carrick score like 1 in 20 matches or something, as is scholes. anderson score like 1 in 50 matches lol.

united rest very heavily on Rooney and to a certain extent, berbatov. last season still got ronaldo and also tevez.

No need so far la.

I think only 2 or 3 seasons back? Now the same players like lack steam alr.

3-0? cant even see united scoring 1 at the moment, let alone 3.

looks like united need to do the job in the second half.

hahahahahaahhaahhahahaah and now??

cos no ronaldo and tevez. but heng united is not like liverpool just cos of alonso.

united need to buy a creative midfielder, who can score quite a bit of goals from midfield. I think united will not win anything this season.

Probably not...Fergie seems content with Anderson/Gibson taking over Scholes in the future.

Luka Modric... Berba's good friend... Mr. Green

Gibson is not fit to wear the Jersey. Anderson/Carrick/Flecther will be our first choice midfielder. I gope Diouf proves to be a prolific striker. Against Burnley, we whipped a number of crosses but our strikers (rooney and berb) can't score any goal for the first 45min.

I had to sneak out from work to watch some parts of the game at the bar behind my workplace... I was lucky enough to catch the first and the last goals! Berba's goal was yummy and Diouf's was great! Beat the offside trap, too bad didn't get to see Rooney score =(

Thank God and Everton and our ex-player Saha, that Man City lost their game!!!!

Rooney9 SG

omg you are working on saturday night at 11pm? go find some other work lar. are you waiting to enter NS?

iceFatboy SG

why man united is playing long balls? back to the 80s is it, when all long balls are hoofed to the striker to chase the ball zzzzzzzzz.

united should learn from barcelona the correct way of playing ie playing passing and short passing instead of long balls to the strikers. xavi and iniesta controlling the midfield, awesome, with messi running the show.

the question to that, MU doesn't have quality in the middle to do those things anymore. yes, we do see glimpses of brillance of those short, delicate passes, but they are far too few for my likings.

it's true, carrick tends to disappear for long spells in a game. Scholes and giggs lao liao.....all the creativity comes from the right side (valencia) when giggs is not playing.

Anderson is not consistent enough and is considered a failure becos he doesnt score goals. Nani is lacking on confidence.

I think chelsea and arsenal's squad more balanced.

you and I can see that, I am sure fergie can see that as well.

so the next buy ought to be a creative midfielder. I am not sure which midfielder will fit that bill?
