if chelsea win at arsenal, its a one horse race liao. can you see chelsea falter now, but I can see united to falter.

The keeper held the player down...

Rooney9 SG

wah lau carrick loses the ball nearly gifted portsmouth a goal sia. how many times have carrick loses the ball in the middle of the field zzzzzzz

Rooney9 SG

thats not a penalty, even the commentator said that. he wasnt holding the player, he came out to punch the ball and yes, there was come contact. I am sure fergie will come out criticising the ref after the match, you can be sure of that. the penalty baffled everyone else. time for video technology to be introduced.

ChingAlvin SG

This is football.. u've watched it for years and u know...

U can try being a referee.

ChingAlvin SG

the replay doesnt show a penalty for portsmouth... hmm...

Maybe give back to portsmouth... united 's penalty is controversial too.

fudgester SG

Okay, Rooney has just put Man U ahead.

Still that Pompey penalty is gonna be the talking point of this match.

Seriously, the replays show nothing.... some shirt tugging by Vidic, perhaps, but the Pompey player didn't go down. Kuszcak's punching of the ball can't really be considered as dangerous play, either.

Rooney9 SG

you can be sure that fergie will be making noises on the ghost penalty after the match.

Rooney9 SG

wah third penalty kick of the night lol. giggs won the penalty kick and it was a rash challenge. rooney for hat trick. yes he did it again. rooney the new pk taker now.

fudgester SG

Fwah.... one more penalty?!?!

Rooney9 SG

2 early goals in the second half killed portsmouth hopes. how different it was in the first half when portsmouth threatened to score everytime they go forward.

Rooney9 SG

giggs the creator of both goals, but scholes? he will be sub shortly by fergie. really dunno why he dun want to use anderson in midfield instead of scholes?

fudgester SG

Kuszcak has been playing pretty well in this game IMHO.

Rooney9 SG

yes thank goodness foster didnt play tonight. I shudder to think if foster were to start, what would happen to this match so far.

Rooney9 SG

dunno why carrick and scholes not been playing well and why fergie keep on picking them? should play anderson more often.

Rooney9 SG

giggs scored for his 100 league goals for united. well done old man lol

even when their team is down and out at 4-1, portsmouth fans still cheered and beat on their drums like hell.

Rooney9 SG

well done kuszcak, point blank saved. heng its not foster who played today.

I-like-flings(m) SG

Man C draw again....... hahahahahahaha

Rooney9 SG

yes city draws too much, can forget about finishing top 4. they dun quite finish teams off like hull and fulham.

fudgester SG

7 straight draws for Man City.

Simply put, they have a strong attack along with a weak defence. And they still insist on wanting to buy wingers and strikers when what they really need are good defenders.

This is what happens when you have an Arab sheik pumping lotsa money into the club and demanding to play Football Manager 2010 with the cheat code switched on.

iceFatboy SG

Kuszcak has been playing pretty well in this game IMHO.

yep, he played well, in fact, MU were inviting Pompey to come forward, seemingly to catch them on the counter.

the way, the commentators were raving about Valencia's pace, I almost believe MUFC signed Bolt..

Grant is correct in the sense, Pompey played well, the score is deceiving.
