michael owen??!!! we are or MU is so so dead...

Pitot SG

Brought over from the other thread about signing owen.

Anyway i hope this isnt a sign of desperation. The last time when he signed henrik larson, there was no one left on the transfer market.

granted, we won the league but this time the squad is even thinner.

the thoughts of rooney getting injured, which he usually does before a world cup, means we got NO ONE LEFT to score goals except berbacock.

Hohoho, i dont think we can keep the title.

And what about right back? Still no solution.

ViNnO SG

Berbatov is good man cmon, players need time to adapt. And SAF still got Macheda and Welback if Rooney injured.

ya, point taken, just that there isn't a "Ronaldo" who can thump in that 10-20 goals anymore so it is a big strain on everyone to share that load.

ViNnO SG

Hahaz yeah, Ronaldo... But I am kinda happy he finally leave, so dam irritated by the transfer speculation all this time. Anw I praying hard that SAF will sign Aguero on his contract buy out clause and SAF to play Rooney on a CF/FWD role.

marcteng SG

there are aplenty of targets left for Utd to sign.

Rossi, Ashley Young, De Rossi, Essien, Fabiansky etc

limpper SG

young will fit into utd's game plan

Why would Utd need Fabianski...

and Young, another winger? I think enough liao la.

Yeah Young is young and good. Mayb SAF might do an exchange plus cash for him, Nani plus a couple of mil. Hahaz. But highly doubt so.

cos targets have joined RM. if 16m can get Fabianski, not bad, as it is not that ex and a good striker.

Young is young and english. he has proven to be a pacy and good winger at Villa after he joined from Watford.

If he joined Utd, fergie will make him from good to better and maybe in a few years time, a top class winger. If he really comes, can sell Nani away liao.

how abt signing Robinho from City

iceFatboy SG

one thing if I am not wrong, MU seems to be veri cautious when buying players.

RM moves so fast, one min say interested, next min, they announce bought.

Imagine MU scouting Benezema from 2002, really tortoise speed leh..

Only player I think Utd regretted not getting is essien.

this one got ego problem, sure crash with SAF leh.

SAF, after Ronaldo leave, will revert to the team dynamics more than the players' dynamic.
