If you ask me, I would go with SAF
decision because Man Utd has won the fa cup the most times. Its the
league title and CL he is more concerned about, as he mentioned
that a stature of Man Utd has won the CL too little. He is more
keen to match Liverpool 18 titles. If next season Man Utd won the
BPL title, surpass Liverpool with 19
titles.
If Man Utd retained CL this season, it is number 4 and 1 behind
Liverpool (5 times winner) in the number of wins for european
cup/UCL. For the record, Barcelona won twice in its history and if
Barcelona were to win, would tie with Man Utd as 3 times
winners.
Both Man Utd and Barcelona should be winning more european
cup/UCL.
