I am very pleased with the performance and the result...
Although 1 - nil might seem like not much, it could have been
worse, like a draw or even a lost...
The most important thing last night was a clean sheet... By
preventing gunners an away goal, Arsenal will be very worry to
concede any goal in the 2nd leg. But with United, you know the
chances of scoring in the 2nd leg is very high. So the gunners will
have to seriously consider their defence apart from having to
score...
My take is, if United play the way they did again next week,
They will go through... Another thing is, the Arsenal defence is
really poor apart from some good goalkeeping...
to be fair, can see SAF trying a few combos.
Tevez, Rooney, and then Berba, and then Ronaldo upfront.
Tevez is hardworking but I have to say, when Berba came into
picture, he was able to retain more of the ball, and seemingly,
now, he is able to release the ball to the faster players sooner.
So he may be crucial in the 2nd leg, when Gunners will be preparing
their storm..
Only concern, is Rio.
