Reports have surfaced today indicating that Portuguese
international Cristiano Ronaldo was involved in a car crash at
around 10:00 GMT this morning.

Police in Manchester have stated that his Ferrari smashed into a
roadside barrier near Manchester Airport. Constables spoke to
Ronaldo at the scene, and investigations are ongoing.
The 23-year old is said to have escaped unscathed, and Sky Sports
have reported that the player has even returned to training
today.
There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.
There have been many incidents this season involving footballers
behind the wheel. In December, rival for the individual accolades
Kaka was involved in a car crash at a traffic light.
He was reportedly making a sightseeing video for a website in
Brazil when a lapse in concentration led to him rear-ending the
driver in front who just happened to be a Rossoneri fan:
"You’re Kaka! You are great. Thank you so much," the driver was
reported to have said.
