Former Manchester United star Quinton Fortune has signed
a one-year deal with Italian Serie B side Brescia.
The 31-year-old South African has been without a club since
leaving Bolton two seasons ago and was on trial at Sheffield
United.
Fortune has been training with Brescia for the past month to
prove his fitness after a succession of knee problems.
Fortune said: "I am now physically ready and willing to take to
the field and I just want to make a contribution after being out
for so long."
The midfielder is in the squad for today's clash with Modena
where a win for Brescia would lift them into the top four.
Fortune was part of the United squad that won three Premier
League titles during his seven years at Old Trafford.
