The Portuguese physio charged with the task of
overseeing Cristiano Ronaldo’s rehabilitation says the Manchester
United winger is working tirelessly on his fitness.
Ronaldo is recovering from ankle surgery, but questions have
been asked about his focus as he has appeared to be spending more
time on topping up his tan than working on his rehab.
He has caught the headlines during a trip to Los Angeles, but
Antonio Gaspar claims Ronaldo is working six hours a day to ensure
he is fit to play in two months.
“Cristiano works for five to six hours a day and we haven’t had
that many days off,” Gaspar told The Sun.
“The trip to LA was fantastic. We were able to work far from the
pressure.
“He will be fit again by the end of September or in the first
days of October.”
