Sir Alex Ferguson has not yet revealed whether he will release
the ex PSV star for the Beijing Olympics in August, as he would
miss almost the entire pre-season preparation.
"That's not something I can decide myself," Park told a Korean
reporter.
"If I play in the Olympics, I'll be able to help the juniors
exempted from military service by winning a medal.
"Or, if I stay with Manchester United, I'll be able to devote
myself to preparing for the next season.
"Whatever happens, there will be something I have to give
up."
Park will be eager to solidify his standing at United, after being
a surprise ommission from the squad that conquered the Champions
League in Moscow last month.
