Manchester United
star Nemanja Vidic insists that Didier Drogba is a cheat and
deserved to be sent off in the Champions League final.
Drogba saw red in extra time
for slapping Vidic's face - and the Serbian centre-half says the
Chelsea striker's nerve failed him. Vidic said: "Drogba likes to
cheat and you need to be on alert about that all the time. "On
Wednesday his nerves let him down which is hardly surprising since
the pressure was colossal. The referee was close to the incident
and was right."
Vidic, 27, said victory
proved United were top of the world. He said: "Can anyone still
doubt that I play in the world's best team? Or that the English
club football is the best in the world?
"What happened in Moscow was
the greatest success in my career. I'm still overcome with emotion.
On Wednesday night we were so tired no one could think of going to
celebrate in a Moscow nightclub. Of course we celebrated for an
hour or so at the hotel but then went to bed.

"But I couldn't sleep
because I was so excited after that great match. In the Luzhniki
Stadium I probably felt more comfortable than the rest after
playing there for Spartak in front of their wonderful
supporters.
"In fact I met several
friends from Moscow who told me that all Spartak fans are now going
to support Manchester United."
