Earlier in the week, French daily sports paper L'Equipe revealed
that Bordeaux boss Laurent Blanc is targeting an attacking
midfielder and a left back, with Silvestre reportedly being the
dream candidate for the latter.
Silvestre, in turn, has admitted that he is intrigued by the
prospect of starring for the club he supported since his boyhood
days.
"It is not impossible - Bordeaux, it's the club of my heart," said
the 30-year-old, who will be out of contract next summer.
"When I was small, I followed their exploits in Europe. Moreover I
have got family in the [area] Gironde."
