Lol, park is the lucky star man. When he's there, man utd will win.

the way park plays, I suspect whether he has an internal engine similiar to IRONMAN -the marvel hero.

just run and run.. and he won't do a nani and shoot cause he will almost always pass to a better positioned team-mate.

was dreaming that shot he had against barca 2nd legh should have went in..

Chelsea are furious with West Ham manager Alan Curbishley for claiming that it would be 'a great injustice' if Manchester United failed to win the league. Curbishley's side travel to Old Trafford tomorrow for a match that could have a decisive influence on the outcome of this season's championship race.

Chelsea boss Avram Grant will today take Curbishley to task for promising to 'raise a glass' to his old friend Sir Alex Ferguson if he sees off the Blues to claim a 10th Barclays Premier League title. He will draw attention to a newspaper column in which Curbishley said: 'It has not been a fluke that his side have been so attractive to watch and produced some thrilling football to match their results. 'It is the reason they stand on the brink of winning the Championship for the 17th time, and the general feeling among most managers is that they would like to see them crowned again.'

In the column published nine days ago, Curbishley added: 'It would be a great injustice if Manchester United were to lose the Premier League title. I would raise a glass if United win the title. It would be, of course, a toast to Alex Ferguson, the best there is and may ever be.' Grant will refer to those remarks at his press conference before attending the funeral of Frank Lampard's mother, Pat.

By implicitly questioning Curbishley's desire to beat his old friend, he doubtless hopes to spur West Ham to another great performance against a side they have beaten in their last three encounters and help deny United that 17th league title. Curbishley, who believes Fergie will continue in charge until he beats Liverpool's record of 18 top-flight triumphs, insists Sir Alex can accept no favours, saying yesterday: 'The world will be watching and we've got to put in a performance and show what we can do.'

But to further fuel Chelsea fears of football conspiring to aid United, Wigan Warriors rugby league club have moved their Challenge Cup match against Whitehaven from tomorrow week to the following Monday to avoid damaging the JJB Stadium pitch the day before the Old Trafford club's visit on the final day of the Premier League season.

Fergie's No 2 Carlos Queiroz, 55, insists he has no intention of leaving the club to take charge at Benfica and takes great pride in rebuilding the club around youngsters such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Anderson. 'I have a contract and I intend to fulfil it,' said Queiroz.

Ronaldo, 12 months into a new fouryear deal, has revealed that he will discuss his future after the Champions League Final. United insist they have no plans to hold talks over improved terms. But asked in the aftermath of Tuesday's win over Barcelona if he might be tempted by a move to Spain, Ronaldo said: 'As far as my future is concerned I don't know, nor do I want to speak about it until after the Champions League Final.'

United's Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic are struggling to make the game with West Ham. But Carlos Tevez, who became an Upton Park cult hero before his switch to Old Trafford, is available for selection.

2) Man utd wins. Your friend will say, "Haha my manutd team is so good."

Either way, he wins.

Rooney has a chance, but Vida's out

Wayne Rooney could be among the substitutes for United's vital Premier League clash with West Ham on Saturday at Old Trafford, but Nemanja Vidic will be missing.

Rooney has been struggling with a hip injury sustained in the 1-1 draw at Ewood Park last month.

He featured in Barcelona and at Chelsea last weekend, but was substituted in both games and subsequently sat out the Champions League semi-final, second leg victory over Barca last Tuesday.

Sir Alex says he is making good progress with his recovery, but with a Champions League final looming large, the United boss will not be taking any chances.

"Wayne may be on the bench," revealed Sir Alex at his pre-match press conference. "But we've got a major final to think about and we're not going to rush him."

Vidic, meanwhile, should be fit to face Wigan next Sunday after spending the next few days recovering from concussion sustained in an accidental collision with Didier Drogba last weekend.

Sir Alex also confirmed Patrice Evra, who was stretchered off in injury time against Barca, is fit to face the Hammers.

We won't roll over at United

SCOTT PARKER has vowed that West Ham will not roll over at Manchester United. United are desperate for victory as they look to pip Chelsea to the Premier League title. Blues boss Avram Grant has blasted Hammers chief Alan Curbishley for predicting that United will win the title.

But Parker has hit back, saying: "We're certainly not going to roll over. "We're professional footballers and we take pride in what we do. We have to try and take something out of the game for ourselves.

"Me ease up? I don't know how. I will keep playing and tackling the way I normally do. "I will try and do my best, as always, and see what happens. Of course it's a massive game for Manchester United and Chelsea but from where I am it's a big game for us as well.

"We want to finish in that 10th spot. We would see it as a massive disappointment if we did not manage it after being in that position in the table for so long. "We're going into the game focusing on what we have to do. We can't spend too much time looking at what the game means for Manchester United."

Manchester United will definitely be without defender Nemanja Vidic for the crucial match against West Ham following his recent concussion.

However, striker Wayne Rooney (hip) could be fit to start on the bench and Patrice Evra, who was stretchered off at Barcelona in midweek, will start.

West Ham expect winger Julien Faubert to have shaken off a slight hamstring problem to be fit to start.

However, Freddie Ljungberg (rib) has been added to the list of injuries.

MANCHESTER UNITED

Cristiano RONALDO is Manchester United's top scorer with 38 goals.

The Portuguese is also United's leading Premier League marksman with 28, and in pole position for the Barclays Golden Boot, four goals ahead of Emmanuel ADEBAYOR of Arsenal.

RONALDO is unlikely now to equal Denis LAW's club record 46 goals in the 1963-64 season, and with only three games remaining will be hard pressed to catch Ruud VAN NISTELROOY's 44-goal haul in 2002-03.

Between them, RONALDO, Carlos TEVEZ and Wayne ROONEY have scored 74 of Manchester United's 103 goals this season in all competitions, and 53 of their 74 (72%) in the Premier League.

Ryan GIGGS is still on course to equal Bobby Charlton's all time appearance record for Manchester United before the season is out. The Wales international will match Charlton's 759 appearances, if he plays a part in each of United's three remaining matches.

WEST HAM UNITED

Dean ASHTON is West Ham's top scorer with nine goals.

ASHTON is also the Hammers' top Premier League marksmen with eight.

The club's Premier League goal-scorers list is predominately comprised of English players (10 of 14).

Robert GREEN is the only remaining player to have been on the field for every minute of every one of West Ham's Premier League matches this season.

Manchester United (from): Van der Sar, Neville, Brown, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Evra, 0'Shea, Ronaldo, Scholes, Anderson, Nani, Hargreaves, Carrick, Giggs, Park, Fletcher, Rooney, Tevez, Kuszczak, Pique, Welbeck.

West Ham (from): Green, Pantsil, Tomkins, Neill, McCartney, Faubert, Parker, Noble, Boa Morte, Zamora, Ashton, Walker, Mullins, Cole, Solano, Sears, Spector, Collison.

Alan Curbishley would not be so "disrespectful" as have his West Ham team lie down at Manchester United on Saturday, according to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. Chelsea have been left less than impressed by recent comments in a newspaper column from the Hammers boss, who felt it would be an injustice if United did not go on and win the championship.

However at Thursday's pre-match press conference Curbishley insisted there would be "no gimmes" from his men on Saturday in the lunchtime kick-off at Old Trafford and has again on Friday slammed talk of favouring United as "ridiculous".

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger - whose third-placed side still have an outside chance of catching the leaders, whom they trail by four points - has no doubts Curbishley will take West Ham to Manchester looking for another famous victory. "What you expect from Alan Curbishley is that he is entitled to have his opinion," said Wenger, "but Alan Curbishley has been in football for a long time and if he goes up there, nobody would forgive him not to give absolutely everything with his team to make a result.

"I know Alan Curbishley and he has pride - to lie down in front of Manchester United would be disrespectful. "I have enough confidence in him that he will try to win the game. "I think that is one of the strong points I respect in him."

At one stage it looked as if Wenger's men were on course for the title, only for their challenge to fall apart over the past two months. While the Arsenal manager accepted the championship was now United's to lose, he maintained his team had given them a run for their money this year.

"Chelsea have a disadvantage because it depends on the result of Manchester United," said Wenger. "I think Manchester United will win the title and they will be worthy winners. "They have played an attractive game as well going forward."

Wenger, though, maintained: "It was very close. It was not the gap there was last season. "If we won at Man United, which we could have done, we would be champions. "You cannot say just these two have been good and the rest are rubbish. "It was very tight between the three teams."

Everyone is putting pressure on Alan Curbishley as tho West Ham going to Man United is a given that they sure win kind...
