plain bad luck imo, not too many people can score in circusmtences like that...tats y the name E. Cantona lives on......xD .. on the other hand, it'll only b...

scorchio SG

i really hope carrick will start....he's been missing for the past few games...to the extent that he wasn't even included in the england squad?!

zocoss SG

I think Ronaldo will be mark so tightly that he won't have much time on the ball... If United are to score from open play, it will either come from Tevez or Rooney... Ronny won't score unless he gets a free-kick or penalty...

Van der Sar

Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra,

Ronaldo, Hargreaves, Anderson, Giggs,

Rooney, Tevez

Subs: Kuszczak, Carrick, Fletcher, Scholes, Nani

jonchao72 SG

jus becos he got torres ,gerrad, and mascherano makes him think he can win..dont forget...we got anderson and the other playmakers as well..mascherano can never be compared to keano...

hehe but we no more keano liao :(

Sienx SG

but, do you realise that ron doesnt excel in big matches? its carrick, anderson, fletcher that control this kind of matches.

yeah but at least ronny can penetrate the defence easier den fletcher..perhaps i think carrick.anderson or carrick, fletcer would be in midfield..

zocoss SG

I feel Fletcher is a real strange player... He don't seem to possess great skill and he can't make great passes but what he has lots is stamina... He just keeps running and running at opponents and mess up their game... There was once a time when I saw Fletcher's name on the first 11 I would go Oh no... But these days... its when i see Paul Scholes name in the first 11 then i would say Oh no...

iSkiMask SG

lol true. i find Fletcher similar as Carrick. But the one with lots of stamina is Park isnt it? That oxygen tank. For me to go Oh no, is seeing Saha in starting eleven.

jonchao72 SG

scarli scholes, saha and giggs all on starting 11, then we GG

very unlikely for saha to make it even to the bench...i'd rather have park there who could be farmore effective than saha..

hmmm... maybe we shud haf nani/park instead of giggs...

Sienx SG

nani is fancy and he can dribble..but his selfish..park is a all around player as well he has decent teamwork skills and his tracking back and tackling much better...however i would prefer nani..

Liverpool boss Benitez taunts Man Utd over Mascherano impact

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez admits they beat Manchester United to sign midfielder Javier Mascherano last season.

He said: "I don't know how interested United were in him last January but they have signed two or three players in his position, sometimes paying more money than we did for Mascherano.

"We are happy with what we have. I don't know if United are happy but we are.

"Javier has a fantastic mentality. He's a top player who can be a key figure for us over the next few years."

jonchao72 SG

i rly hope we beat them flat flat man... if not they will surely start to boast and act big

Dead_Man_Inc SG

i hope that ronaldo can perform.. seems that he always fade away during big match..

Sienx SG

taunt us about mascherano lol ? we beat u in signing our ronaldo and i think anderson pwns mascherano more..his young somemore

zocoss SG

i hope that ronaldo can perform.. seems that he always fade away during big match..

Its not he fade away, its normally because he is so heavyly mark during this kind of matches... Opponents know about him and they will try their best to stick so close to him that he won't have many chances... They will even go in hard and foul him on purpose so as to intimidate him. But in doing so, normally it benefit Tevez and Rooney who will get more chances when defenders double up on Ronaldo...

itaji SG

Vs the Scousers, even a draw cannot be acceptable. Moreover it is at Old Trafford. Don't care whether they are in red hot form or not.. I keep the faith.

Sienx SG

if ronaldo gets marked lets jus hope they wont put too much attention to rooney or tevez...thats what happened..they marked ronaldo in the previous encounter but forget to mark tevez which he scored
